Resulta que els europeus cada cop comprem més vi provinent d’altres continents. I també resulta que els no europeus cada cop beuen menys vi del vell món. Sembla que tenim un problema, no? Doncs a França es veu que no ho volen entendre:

Estic d’acord que està molt bé tenir productes “autèntics”, però si ningú no els compra… Que deixin a la gent beure el que més li agrada i si agrada allò que el ministre francès troba autèntic, molt bé i si no, també. Al cap i a la fi, anar vestit de menorquí és molt autèntic, però prefereixo els texans…
