More with Ubuntu - Rory’s | Liberation | Front - I loved apple. I really did. When I got my ipod and later got my macbook, I thought it was the greatest thing computing had ever produced. I still have them. I still use them. My iPod is the greatest thing that ever happened to my music collection. But something at Apple changed. They used to be the counter-attack to Microsoft. But now, they have the same business model as Microsoft - Buy your competition, shut them down, create unnecessary law suits in order to protect your market share, and then make it look like you are the first and foremost opinion and option in the computer industry. The iPhone is the exact example of their dictatorship over their product. If you want an iPhone, you have to go through AT&T (and their service sucks). Then if you want software, you have to go directly through them and you can ONLY purchase software that apple approves of…. why would I spend absorbent amounts of money on something I can't control?

Living on the edge — ShuttleX - Sembla que la propera Ubuntu funcionarà força bé al MacBook:
Ubuntu 8.10 was the best surprise. I’ve done some testing of Ubuntu on my Mac before, not always with the best results. This time however everything was up and running with the first attempt. The sound part is still somewhat buggy, but that is the case on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) as well. I’m also not happy with the way the trackpad works, no easy way to get right/secondary mouse button functionality, also the same as on Hardy.

On the upside with Intrepid - it’s fast and stable. At least it’s fast an stable for me. I’m not trying to get everyone jumping on the alpha/beta/pre release wagon here, I just felt the need to express my (pleasant) surprise of the stability and quality of all of these pre release applications.
/ekesken: back to the debian! - Aquest article descriu molt bé les meves sensacions quan vaig posar Ubuntu al MacBook. Linux no està optimitzat per aquest hardware, a diferència del Mac OS, i en comparar això es nota. És una llàstima. Caldria que un fabricant fes de linux la seva marca de casa. M'encantaria tenir un UbuntuBook. Un ordinador preciós optimitzat per Ubuntu. Quin fabricant s'hi llançarà?

Un peu plus à l’Est - Il m'a été plus prosaïquement , permis de prendre l'ascenseur géant qui d'ordinaire fait monter les avions de chasse du pont inférieur au pont de décollage . L'ascenseur est tombé en panne. Il fallut s'échapper par une échelle. Même le George Washington est imparfait , comme l' Amérique , comme la nature humaine. Mais sans lui, la Chine serait en guerre avec Taiwan , les deux Corées s'affronteraient , les pirates contrôleraient Malacca , etc…

One way is to seek the counsel of experts, and so we begin a new publication, simply called Physics.
